Flipping Your Diet
Along with daily exercise, eating a balanced diet can help with your wellness journey. Personally, eating right is the hardest hurdle to overcome. On busy days it is difficult to stop everything and make time to cook or pack a lunch for work. However, it is something that can improve over time with small changes. For example, try to incorporate a balanced meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make sure to have a protein, carb, vegetable, and fat for everything meal. If you are craving something sweet, grab an apple and some peanut butter as a snack. Cut back on snacks and stock up on granola bars, fruits, veggies, etc. Instead of buying a sprite or soda, start bringing flavored water or tea with honey to work.
